The 260 t/h dry quenching waste heat recovery project for the 6.78-meter coke oven of Qinghua Coal Chemical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Mongolia’s Qinghua Group, undertaken by Changzhou Jiaohuan Engineering Co., Ltd., has officially commenced construction!

Epidemic prevention remains unwavering, and development presses on without pause. Since the onset of this wave of the pandemic, the Inner Mongolia Qinghua Project Department of Changzhou Jiaohuan Engineering Co., Ltd. has maintained rigorous防控 measures to combat the virus while doing its utmost to advance development, firmly pursuing both epidemic control and project construction in tandem—without compromising either. At 11:18 on November 25, the 6.78-meter coke oven’s 260 t/h dry quenching waste‑heat recovery project of Qinghua Coal Chemical Co., Ltd., part of the Qinghua Group in Inner Mongolia, officially broke ground. Representatives from the project owner, the design firm, the supervisory agency, and the construction contractor attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

The project is located in the High-Tech Industrial Development Zone of Alxa League, Inner Mongolia, and is being developed under an energy‑performance contracting model by Changzhou Jiaohuan Engineering Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Jiangsu Longye and Shaanxi Yuteng. The main facility comprises a dry quenching unit with a rated processing capacity of 260 t/h, coupled with a 7.5 MW back‑pressure turbine‑generator set. The steam pressure after back pressure is approximately 4.0–4.5 MPa, with a temperature of around 450°C; the resulting steam is integrated into the client’s existing steam network. Upon completion, the project will effectively promote energy conservation, emission reduction, and clean production, significantly enhance coke quality, improve the operating environment of the coke ovens, and reduce energy consumption, thereby fostering a green, sustainable circular‑economy development model.
