Rising-tube waste heat recovery

The rising‑tube waste‑heat recovery system has overcome the three longstanding technical challenges in the coking industry—graphite fouling, coke‑tar deposition, and water leakage. Employing a self‑developed heat‑exchanger equipped with a nano‑self‑cleaning coating, the system effectively inhibits tar adhesion and graphite buildup, significantly enhancing heat‑transfer efficiency and extending equipment service life. This technology is compatible with various coke‑oven configurations, enabling highly efficient waste‑heat recovery and facilitating its industrial‑scale, large‑volume, and commercial deployment.

Nano‑high‑temperature‑resistant thermal insulation material is a high‑performance insulating coating formulated on the basis of an aqueous inorganic high‑temperature‑resistant binder system, incorporating nano‑inorganic mesoporous heat‑blocking particles, high‑temperature‑resistant multifunctional fillers, and reinforcing ceramic fibers. It exhibits excellent properties such as low thermal conductivity, superior high‑temperature resistance, strong adhesion, and outstanding corrosion resistance and durability. The coating can be applied by spraying or brushing onto complex, irregularly shaped equipment surfaces and is suitable for a wide range of substrates, including metals and refractory materials. It finds extensive use in high‑temperature industrial sectors such as metallurgy, petrochemicals, power generation, and building materials, delivering significant benefits in reducing energy consumption, improving working conditions, and extending equipment service life.

Coking wastewater treatment

In response to the complex composition, high pollutant concentrations, recalcitrance, and high salinity of coking wastewater, a comprehensive treatment process combining biochemical treatment, membrane separation, and evaporation‑crystallization has been implemented to achieve true zero liquid discharge—enabling water reuse while recovering and valorizing sodium chloride and sodium sulfate from the salt fraction. The biochemical treatment employs an O‑A/O‑A/O process; membrane separation utilizes a UF‑RO1‑RO2 configuration for reclaimed water and a multi‑stage NF process for salt fractionation; and evaporation‑crystallization adopts triple‑effect evaporation coupled with cryogenic cooling and re‑crystallization for salt recovery. The biochemical system primarily removes the majority of COD, ammonia nitrogen, cyanide, and other pollutants, ensuring that effluent quality fully meets regulatory standards. The membrane separation stage focuses on water recovery, producing concentrated brine suitable for subsequent evaporation‑crystallization. Finally, the evaporation‑crystallization unit enables the resourceful utilization of sodium chloride and sodium sulfate while solidifying residual salts, thereby achieving true zero liquid discharge for coking wastewater. This integrated technology offers significant advantages, including stable operation, strong resistance to shock loads, high water‑recovery efficiency, consistent salt‑product quality, and genuine zero liquid discharge.

Flue gas desulfurization and denitrification

The flue gas desulfurization and denitrification system is a flue gas purification technology widely applied in the chemical industry to control the formation of nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides. The system employs a self-developed low-temperature, sulfur‑resistant denitrification catalyst, enabling a sequential process of denitrification followed by desulfurization. While achieving ultra‑low emissions of nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, and particulate matter, it also efficiently recovers waste heat from coke oven flue gas, maximizes steam production, and resolves the issue of excessive ammonia slip. In the desulfurization stage, a CFB fluidized‑bed process is utilized, with hydrated lime as the desulfurizing agent, effectively reducing operating costs. The system features a simple process flow, minimal water consumption, and eliminates the need for flue gas cooling or reheating. Equipment exhibits virtually no corrosion, scaling, or wastewater discharge; it occupies a small footprint, saving space, requires low capital investment, and incurs modest operating expenses. With its high adaptability, the system is suitable for diverse operating conditions and can be customized to optimize performance based on specific customer requirements, helping coking enterprises achieve ultra‑low emissions and green production.
