On February 5, 2018, Shandong Shiheng Special Steel Co., Ltd. successfully commissioned and completed its newly constructed 81‑cell, 5.5‑meter pusher‑type coke oven’s waste‑heat recovery system for the rising pipe. During construction, challenges posed by furnace‑body expansion during the baking of the new coke oven were effectively addressed, ensuring safe startup. After one month of operation, the equipment has performed reliably, with no occurrences of coke‑oil buildup or graphite deposition.
